When you’re looking for the full package of beauty, brains and brawn to promote your brand, Chanel DaCosta is your best choice.
A firm believer in making any brand she’s affiliated with a part of her lifestyle, Chanel will be working for you even when she’s off the clock. You may know her as the face behind the popular Lasco iDrade television commercial, or a permanent staple on the carnival scene both in Jamaica and the Caribbean, but there’s a lot more to Chanel DaCosta than meets the eye.
Born in 1994 in Kingston, Jamaica, Chanel grew up with the firm belief in the mantra, “work hard, play harder”. And luckily for her, work and play often overlap.
While pursuing a degree in biochemistry and management studies at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus and working simultaneously as a Sales & Marketing Executive at J.A. Island Roasters and Co-Director of ChloMö Projects and Events, Chanel finds the time to work on multiple modeling and fitness projects.
In 2016, she participated in the reknown Guardsman Games – a grueling full-day fitness challenge testing physical and mental fitness. This led to her being featured in the Lasco iDrade television and billboard ad campaign, aired in several Caribbean countries.
Chanel has also been featured as a costume model for several Jamaican carnival bands, including Xodus Jamaica, Bacchanal Jamaica and Xaymaca International.
Her passion for travel and learning languages has also brought her to several Caribbean and European countries to promote events such as the CropOver Festival in Barbados and the Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium.
